Hi, I’m Palmina Vilone,

I became an editor because I love stories, but more importantly, I love helping writers tell them well.

After completing my Bachelor’s in Creative Writing and working in children’s publishing, I stepped into freelance editing to work more closely with authors. Since then, I’ve partnered with writers across genres, offering detailed manuscript assessments and structural feedback that strengthens both narrative and voice.

My own short fiction has been published in Verandah Journal and featured on The NoSleep Podcast, so I understand firsthand how personal the writing process can be. I know what it feels like to hand over a manuscript and hope someone sees what you’re trying to create.

My approach is honest, encouraging, and practical. I’ll celebrate what’s working and thoughtfully challenge what isn’t, always to help your story become the strongest version of itself.

Outside of editing, I’m usually reading romance, horror, or a slightly over-the-top thriller; the cheesier, the better.
